The VULASTIK L is an axial pluggable very flexible coupling developed for a variety of different applications. Four rubber qualities and silicone coupling are available in order to tune the coupling to the various system requirements. VULASTIK L highly flexible couplings are available with one elastic element in standard design or as dual execution with two parallel elements. The main parts of the VULASTIK L highly flexible coupling are the hub and a flanged casing. Between these, the disc-shaped element is arranged. This disc element is vulcanized at its inner radius, the outer radius is connected to the flanged casing by a plug-in toothing. This toothing provides the axial plug-in feature and compensation of shaft displacements.

VULASTIK L X50

In order to meet market requirements for higher torque transmission and power loss, VULKAN has added an additional product to the VULASTIK L portfolio.
The VULASTIK L X50 is designed for the torque range from 33.5 to 39.5 kNm for marine applications and from 46.9 to 55.4 kNm for industrial applications and is available in the three stiffness levels 6, 8 and A. The new VULKAN coupling is the optimum solution for gensets, pod drives, pump drives and all applications where maximum torque transmission is required.
